Hi everyone! Long time, no talk. Although I haven’t been posting much on here, God has been moving mountains in my life and I’d love to share these sweet moments with you.
My personal life has been crazy recently! I graduated in May and had the opportunity to sing at my commencement ceremony which was super cool! I’ve been leading worship at my church in Parker for 2 years now, but that small crowd was nothing compared to the estimated 6,000 viewers of the performance both in-person and online! I sang “Be a Light” by Thomas Rhett which went along perfectly with my senior class quote, “When you can’t find the light, be the light”. I love that! It’s such a great reminder of how we can still find joy and light after such a tough year. While I’ve been trying to be a light, where does my light come from? Honestly, it’s my sweet friends, generous and kind family, but overall, from Jesus.
In these past few months, Jesus has revealed even more of his character to me. It’s been a tough few months, lots of change, lots of sadness, but so much joy. I’ve connected with my team more than ever and it’s amazing! What a blessing it is to know that I’ll be surrounded by some amazing, beautiful, and kind people. Love those guys. Being plugged into a community like this where we build each other up and can. all prepare our hearts together for this incredible journey is so cool. As I’m writing this, I’ll be meeting my team for the first time all together in 9 days! The teammates I’ve had the pleasure to connect with on a deeper level have reflected Jesus beautifully. Thank you, God, for this team!!
Now for a fundraising update!
God is so crazy good and provides for me, in this trip especially, so well. As of June 7th, myself, my wonderful friends, family, and anyone who has ever supported me have raised $10,213!!!! WOW!! SO AWESOME!! If you’re reading this, and have supported me financially in any way, from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much. Words cannot express my gratitude!! This means I’m 64.6% funded! I only have $5,587 left to raise before I’m fully funded!! Praise Jesus!
Well, that’s all for now. I ask that you’ll pray for me as I travel to Georgia on June 16th for Bootcamp! Pray for a strong community and good team-building! I hope you all have a fantastic week and never forget how deeply loved you are by the creator of the universe. he’s so cool for doing that. love that guy
